Kanto
Kanto is the first region featured in the Pokemon series, and it is home to many iconic locations and Pokemon. It is based on the real-life region of Kanto in Japan and consists of eight Gyms that trainers must defeat to challenge the Pokemon League.
Johto
Johto is home to many iconic Pokemon such as Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile, as well as legendary Pokemon like Lugia and Ho-Oh. Johto is also notable for its unique gym leaders and their respective Pokemon types, including Falkner and his Flying-type Pokemon, Whitney and her Normal-type Miltank, and Clair and her powerful Dragon-type Pokemon.
Hoenn
This region is home to many unique and starter Pokemon, such as Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip, as well as legendary Pokemon like Kyogre and Groudon. Hoenn is also known for its distinctive gym leaders and their respective Pokemon types, including Roxanne and her Rock-type Pokemon, Brawly and his Fighting-type Pokemon, and Wallace and his Water-type Pokemon.
Sinnoh
It is home to the starter Pokemon, such as Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, as well as legendary Pokemon like Dialga and Palkia. Paldea
Paldea is the newest region in the world of Pokemon and is full of new and exciting Pokemon. The starters in this region are: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly. Some of the tough gym leaders in this area are trainers such as Kofu, Larry and Tulip.
