This set has been shared on this group many times already, but I was still unprepared for how incredible it would be in person! Photos don’t nearly do justice.
As someone who strongly prefers Dragonite with old-school soulful eyes, this BQG set still easily tops as one of my *all-time* favorite figures thus far. Dynamic poses, smartly-placed magnets, gorgeously rendered but still fairly minimal stands, and solid paintwork. I particularly love the subtle shimmer used on Dragonair’s skin and on the cloud bases, as well as how the lines on Dragonite’s underbelly accurately portray contortion. There was also a surprise new friend in the box.
